PW Merchant API has successfully completed Google’s OAuth app verification process for the Google Merchant Center access required by the application. Its application identity, branding and requested data access have been reviewed and verified by Google.
This verification provides WooCommerce merchants with a clearer, more transparent and more professional connection experience. When a merchant connects a Google Account to PW Merchant API, the authorization is performed through Google’s standard OAuth interface. The merchant can review the application name, requested permission and account selection before deciding whether to continue.
PW Merchant API does not ask users to share their Google Account password with PW Feed. Account sign-in and authorization take place through Google. The merchant remains in control of whether access is granted and may revoke that access later through the available application or Google Account controls.
Google OAuth verification has a specific meaning. It confirms that the application completed Google’s applicable verification process for its identity, branding and requested Merchant Center data access. It does not mean that Google endorses, sponsors, recommends or officially partners with PW Feed or PW Merchant API.
What Google OAuth verification means for users

Which Google access has been verified

This access is necessary because PW Merchant API provides user-facing functions that involve both sending product information and retrieving the resulting Merchant Center information.
For example, a merchant may use the application to submit or update a WooCommerce product and then review whether Google accepted the request, detected an issue or returned a processing result.
The application also uses basic Google Account identity information to help the merchant recognize the account used for the connection. This information is not requested for advertising, unrelated profiling or access to unrelated Google services.
PW Merchant API does not request Merchant Center access in order to read personal email messages, browse Google Drive files, inspect Google Calendar entries or use unrelated Google Account services.
Your Google password is not shared
PW Feed does not need to know a merchant’s Google Account password to establish an authorized Merchant Center connection.
When the merchant chooses to connect, Google manages the account sign-in and permission decision. PW Merchant API receives only the authorization required to perform the approved functions.
PW Feed does not receive the user’s Google password.
Users should never send the following information to PW Feed through email, support forms or normal website forms:

Google user data may be processed only by PW Feed systems and service providers that are necessary to operate, secure or support PW Merchant API.
Product information and user-requested changes are transmitted to Google Merchant Center only to perform the operations initiated or configured by the merchant.
Necessary service providers may process limited information on behalf of PW Feed where this is required for hosting, security, service continuity or technical support. Such processing must remain limited to the service being provided and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection responsibilities.
PW Feed does not sell, rent or license Google user data.
PW Feed does not transfer Google user data to:
- Advertisers
- Data brokers
- Marketing databases
- Information resellers
- Unrelated commercial organizations
- Third-party AI model-training services
Information may be disclosed only where required by applicable law, valid legal process or a binding request from a competent authority.
How merchants remain in control
The merchant controls whether PW Merchant API is authorized.
Before granting access, the user can review the application name and permission information presented by Google. If the user does not wish to continue, authorization can be cancelled.
After connecting, the merchant can continue to manage the relationship through PW Merchant API and the relevant Google Account settings.
A merchant may:
- Review the connected Google Account
- Review the selected Merchant Center account
- Stop using synchronization functions
- Disconnect the Google connection
- Revoke the application’s access through Google
- Clear local operational records where supported
- Request deletion of Google connection information held by PW Feed
Revoking access prevents PW Merchant API from performing further authorized Google API operations unless the merchant completes the authorization process again.
Disconnecting the application does not automatically delete products from WooCommerce or Merchant Center. Product information already submitted to Merchant Center may remain there until the merchant removes it using an authorized method.
